Criteria for choosing projects
One of the fundamental aspects for us is the selection of projects to be financed through the funds that we have raised.
1) It is of fundamental importance that there is a local person, lay or religious, that overseas the development and heads the project.
2) The projects are chosen with particular attention to the needs of children and women.
3) Besides supplying basic aid, we think it is very important to favour the independence and responsibility of local personnel, having them administer the structures that we help to build and maintain.
4) When it is possible we prefer to purchase local equipment or services instead of buying them in Italy, in this way we contribute to the economy of the country.
5) The funds that we raise are administered with openness and responsibility towards our donors who may access our administrative data and our budgets at any time.
