On the outskirts of the capital city Lomè, the medical centre of first aid run by the sisters of Nôtre Dame de la Trinité, is especially aimed at women and children, the weakest sector of the population. In the medical centre, inaugurated in February 2011 and built thanks to the Gruppo Cariparma Crédit Agricole, women come to give birth (in the first 10 months 145 babies were born), for pre-natal controls, for ecographies, vaccinations for men and women, HIV tests.
The dispensary has a staff of 12 people.
OUR COMMITMENT
We have sent hospital beds, gynaecological beds and instruments, medicines, etc.
We also contribute to paying the salaries of the people who work in the dispensary.
